What does Mfeo love mean?

So, I was watching Sleepless in Seattle one night, and when Meg Ryan reads the letter from Tom Hanks’ son Noah, he signs it off with "MFEO." When Rosie O’donnel asks "What does that mean?" Meg says, “Meant for each other.” I was like OMG! What a cool name for a space that helps guide humans to ensure that their furry kids that are our everything are going to be taken care of in the event that something happens to us. What exactly does this mean? It means that me and sometimes with the help of others (a network of folk who volunteer at rescues/shelters/sanctuaries) help you make a plan for your furry loved ones if you cross that rainbow bridge before they do.  Why do this kind of project? After doing volunteer work at shelters & rescues, it makes me sad to see so many dogs and cats being put down or go through a stressful transition, because someone recently passed and no one is willing to step up to be their new guardian or their loved ones don't honor their last wishes. Another aspect of this work, is to give the tools to ensure that your MFEO furry kid/companion can transition to their new home or rescue with wellness and love. To ensure that your last wishes of having your loved ones taken care of are honored. We also provide guidance to honor/celebrate your furry loved ones if they do go over the rainbow bridge too!

How do we help?

- We can provide you with a list of dog/cat trainers that deal with an assortment of behavior issues, can help you build more confidence, and assist you in learning more dog/cat psychology to ensure that if you do transition out of this realm, that your dog/cat will be able to be handled/taken care of by their new guardians/loved ones.

- We offer guidance & support when you need to get ready for end of life decisions for you or your furry kid/companion along with grief support resources after your loved crosses the rainbow bridge.

- We can give recommendations on veterinarians who do at home euthanasia or who provide a loving setting for you and your furry loved ones to say good bye.

How does this work fit into Circular Crossings you ask?

Since being domesticated, dogs & cats have helped people with providing companionship, safety, and keeping areas clean and vermin free. The pet/human relationship is a unique one, that I feel has allowed me to stay in this realm. Rather than me saving them, pets have saved me, and in return, this project is to help save more animals and give them a chance to always be loved if their loved ones pass. And also for us to create the space to mourn to loss of a special kind of love that only our pets give us.
